Our friend Timothy and his wife recently honeymooned in Iceland! Here’s what he has to say about the church shown in this beautiful shot: “Dating back to the 17th century, Grafarkirkja is the oldest Christian church in Iceland. The church was deconsecrated not too soon after being built and was used as a tool shed thereafter. However, in 1950 the National Museum of Iceland had the building reconstructed to it original form complete with turf roof.”
