We tried so hard to narrow down our top travel experiences of 2015 to a Top 10 list, but it was just too hard! So many wonderfully exciting things happened! We eventually narrowed it down to our Top 15, our #Top15of2015, and we’ve been sharing them on Instagram for the past few days. These are, of course, in no particular order – how could we decide?!
Our Top 15 Travel Experiences of 2015
Meagan couldn’t believe her luck when she visited the most picturesque lavender fields in Provence. Every stop along the drive was like a photo from a book! All of the flowers were blooming brightly!
In January, Stephanie traveled with her husband to Thailand to show him where she studied abroad.
Our second photo for our top 15 experiences in 2015 comes from my trip to Thailand in January. It was my first time back since studying abroad there & I had so much fun watching my husband take in a country that will always hold a special place in my heart. One quintessential Bangkok experience we had was riding in a tuktuk, weaving in & out of traffic. What a rush!

Meagan had the most amazing experiences in France, and cycling through Burgundy with Beaune as a home base blew her away! She wants to go back again right now! It probably isn’t on your travel list yet, but is should be!
Stephanie took a page from everyone’s bucket list and spent her spring break in Cuba. Read about her favorite spots here!
One of my favorite things about Cuba was meeting the locals! We’re sharing our top 15 experiences of 2015 until the new year. People’s sense of hope & optimism of changes to come was palpable in Havana in April as Raul Castro & President Obama engaged in historic talks. Two thumbs up ???? for more opportunities for this treasure of a Caribbean nation while preserving its unique heritage ?☀️

We love exploring our home state, and the vineyards in the North Georgia mountains make a great day trip or weekend getaway from Atlanta.
No, Stephanie did not stay put for very long in 2015. She’s always wanted to go to Greece, and she made Santorini happen this year! It’s ok to be a little jealous. Just add it to your bucket list.

A wedding took Meagan to St. Louis, where she rode to the top of the Gateway Arch. It was way more nerve-wracking than she expected!
Meagan learned how to bake macarons in Paris and how many she can eat before needing a break. Hint: it’s a lot!
I know we’ve said it before, but learning to bake #macarons in Paris with @lacuisineparis was definitely one of our favorite and most delicious experiences of 2015.

Definitely a top travel experience of the year, Stephanie rode in a hot air balloon after the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. What a colorful experience!
We love our city, and meeting for lunch at the Sweet Auburn Curb Market is one of our favorite Atlanta experiences!

Stephanie even made it to Amman, Jordan in 2015. Here she is at the lowest spot on earth at the Dead Sea, enjoying some of the benefits of the mineral-rich mud.
Stephanie also ended up in Istanbul for a few days for work. She got to visit the Aya Sofia, shown below, as well as many other important historical landmarks!

We love traveling with our family! Stephanie was in Greece this summer with her husband, her sister, and her neice!
Best meal of the year? It had to be this amazing picnic shared with Meagan, her mom, and her husband on the Champ de Mars in Paris.
And slipping in at the last minute, Stephanie is at Dry Tortugas National Park in Florida today!

What a year!!! I’ve been to Santorini twice and the second time was just as magical! I’m glad you enjoyed Greece just as much as I didi! 🙂
Yes it was quite the year! Santorini is amazing & had been on my ‘list’ for quite sometime. I was just commenting to my husband last night that I’d go back to Greece in a heartbeat. Though I have so many places to explore! Wishing you the best this year!
